“He eivät surmanneet Mozgovoita. Hänestä vain tehtiin kuolematon”. Aleksei Markov, kommunistisen yksikön komentaja. Antifasististen joukkojen, ns. Haamu- eli Prizrak-pataljoonan, komentaja Aleksei Mozgovoi murhattiin 23. toukokuuta lähellä Luhanskin kaupunkia. Mozgovoi ja kuusi hänen toveria saivat surmansa autopommi-iskussa ja konekivääritulessa.

Oulussa muistettiin Odessan joukkomurhan uhreja
1. toukokuuta 2015 oululaiset sosialistit ja kommunistit vastasivat ukrainalaisten antifasistien esittämään kutsuun ja kunnioittivat 2. toukokuuta 2014 Odessan ammattiliittojen talossa tapahtuneen äärinationalistien ja fasistien toimeenpaneman joukkomurhan uhreja. Suomalaiset toverit osoittivat solidaarisuutensa ukrainalaisille tovereilleen, jotka taistelevat nationalismia, fasismia ja kapitalismia vastaan.
